The manager and I chatted about the comfortable beds and the great breakfast. I mentioned that it took a while for the hot water to get to the shower and she said it was mostly because there weren't that many people in the hotel that night. But she told me that she had put everyone on the top floor so that they would have quiet night without someone overhead walking around. I also had a problem with the television ( my fault) and the receptionist came to my room to help me figure out how to fix it. I eventually figured out what I did wrong but he was great to try.

This was our second stay at this location, and that says it all! In fact, we think we had the same room. Stay is fairly priced for this area, fluctuating on time of year, events, etc. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Lobby provides beverages even after hours. Breakfast always has some hot and cold choices, with good hours. Always fruit to go! Rooms are clean, love having two chairs in our King room. Bathtub is easy to get into. Location is great for State Fair, shopping, restaurants, etc.

Laura, the general manager was so helpful arranging an extra night stay that was unforseen on my part. But she shuffled things around to make it happen. Very friendly.

Staff were all wonderful. The team took care to respond to a request surrounding allergies, then went above and beyond.
